The weather is cooling down but here at Beacon Hills we are really cooking. We have decided to shake things up a bit and instead of the normal newsletter, we are going to introduce you to a valuable member of the Beacon Hills team. We want you to get an up close and personal view of the staff who continually provide the exceptional service you have come to expect. This month I am pleased to introduce Ms. Dani Lenihan.

To celebrate the coming fall season, Ms. Lenihan gave birth to her second son Aedan on August 7th. Her first son Treighton is now 3 and very excited about being a big brother. Dani is a native Nebraskan born in McCook and lived a couple of years in Filley before moving to Lincoln as a young adult.

She plans on starting some online courses soon, but one of her big dreams is to go skydiving. With two young boys at home she does not have much time for extracurriculars. In fact, she says most of her time outside of work is spent, “hanging out with my boys, helping with Treighton’s preschool, and laundry.”

The next time you drop by Beacon Hills for one of your favorite meals, ask Dani how her boys are doing.

It was a crazy 3 1/2 days around here but we finished the remodel and it was a huge success. The dinning room looks bigger, the walls brighter, and the menu is fabulous. September is upon us and in Lincoln that can only mean one thing, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL.

Here at Beacon Hills we have the fever and that means you reap the benefits. Post game specials are our way of supporting the team, the fans, and our loyal customers. You do the tailgating on game day, let us provide the food and “Spirit” after the game and right up to kick-off the following week. The question of the month is not, “What’s happening at Beacon Hills?” It is, “What’s not happening?” It started out as a simple idea for some new carpeting but has now turned into a full-blown remodeling. From August 23-26 Beacon Hills is getting a facelift, new booths, new carpet, walls, lighting, and even a new menu by September 1.

For the past few weeks our chefs have been tirelessly testing new recipes that have tantalized your taste buds every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights as our weekend specials. We want to make sure the new menu has an eclectic selection to please the palate without forgetting the old favorites for which Beacon Hills is best known. Some of the items we have been perfecting include, the Shrimp Bruschetta Pasta, the tasty Jack Daniels Sirloin known to knock your socks off, the Crispy Shrimp Platter that will sooth the soul, and our hearty German Kielbasa Plate will leave you right in the middle of Oktoberfest. So hurry down for one more meal and get a good look around at an old friend before the newly revamped Beacon Hills blows you away. “The same great food, with a whole new attitude!”
